The game involves one participant being blindfolded and standing in the center of a circle. The blindfolded player has a scarf or neckerchief over their eyes and can't see anything. The other participants stand in a circle around the blindfolded player and move to the rhythm of the music.

When the music stops, the circle also stops. The blindfolded player quickly moves to a person in the circle and touches them to try and figure out who it is.

After a short while, the music starts again, the circle begins to move, and the blindfolded player returns to the center while removing their blindfold. Now, the blindfolded player must guess who they just touched.

If the blindfolded player guesses correctly, they switch roles: the person who was identified becomes the new blindfolded player.
