Set up balance and obstacle courses in the ski area – the only limit is your imagination. Make use of the terrain and whatever equipment you have available. The goal is to create courses that challenge balance and provide variety. If there are no natural variations in the terrain, you can easily create your own elements.

An obstacle course can, for example, include:

  • Bumps and uneven terrain
  • Small and large jumps
  • Variation in surface/texture
  • Gates or tunnels to pass through
  • A slalom section
  • Skating and/or double-poling sections
  • Obstacles to jump over
  • Objects to reach for
  • Zones where you must stand on one leg
  • Zones where you have to pick something up
  • Sections where you shoot at targets while moving

Speed and excitement are important ingredients in these courses. At the same time, they should be designed to allow for alternative and individual solutions, so that everyone can experience a sense of mastery.
