Miniature picture

The participants are divided into teams and find their own spot, where they mark out a square area with sticks. They then gather together and are asked to study a ‘miniature picture’ that an adult has created within a similar square area. The square may contain, for example, a twig, a leaf, a stone, some pine cones or a stick.
The children are given a short time to study the picture. They then run back to their own square and create a similar picture.
This activity is ideal for outings in all seasons. Use elements found in the natural surroundings wherever you are.
