Octopus Trail

Suggestions on how to set up a ski trail with winding sections/octopus arms.

- Skis
Create a trail that winds in 3–4 "arms", depending on what the terrain allows. The loops (octopus arms) can, for example, be placed:
- around a building
- around a pole or cone
- up and down a small hill
- around a tree
One round is completed when all loops have been traversed. The trail can be used as a pure circular route, or you can include various stations to be completed along the way.
Variation
The trail can also be completed as a relay race. In this case, either one loop can be one leg, or the entire round can be one leg.
Suggestions for stations along the way:
- hit a lid or a cone with snowballs
- hit a hula hoop with a ski pole
- create a "ski poem" or a short ski rap (rap text about skiing)
- make a small snow sculpture
- spin around a bottle and then throw at a target
Adapt the number and difficulty of the stations according to age and skill level.
