In this game, there is one pot seller, one customer, and the rest of the participants are «pots». The pots sit in a row with bent knees and hands clasped under their knees. Each pot is assigned a color based on the clothes they are wearing.

The customer enters the «shop» and asks:

Good day, do you have any pots for sale?

«Of course,» replies the seller. «Which color would you like?»

The customer chooses a color, and the seller helps carry the pot «home». The pots are carried by holding onto the «handles», which are the arms of the person acting as the pot. In advance, the group decides where «home» is, for example, 10 meters from the shop.

If the carriers drop the pot on the way (lose their grip or lose balance), the pot is considered broken. It must then be carried to the «dumping ground», which is twice as far away as home.

Once all the pots have been bought and carried home (or to the dumping ground), participants switch roles so that more people get to try being a pot, customer, and seller.
