  • Dice

Divide into teams of 3–5 people. The first person on each team rolls the dice in the starting area and then runs to the center of the cone field. There, the participant picks up a ball from the hoop and places it by the cone with the same number as shown on the dice, before running back and tagging the next person on the team. The goal is to be the first team to place one ball by each of the numbered cones. In the next round, the task can be to retrieve the balls in the same way.

Penalty Round

If the participant rolls a number where the team has already placed a ball, you can use one of these solutions:

  • The participant retrieves the ball from the respective cone and places it back in the center, or
  • The participant runs to the cone with this number without placing a new ball.

Tip: Feel free to add various obstacles that must be overcome on the way to, or from, the center.

Variation

  • Dice-Ball is well suited as a relay, where participants must orient themselves quickly under time pressure and pay attention to several things simultaneously.
  • Can be carried out with different types of balls, on skis, skates, or in water.
  • Many participants per team results in higher speed and greater focus on quickness.
  • Fewer participants per team places greater demands on individual endurance.
