A simple and inclusive game with clear rules that provides high activity for all participants.
Divide the group into two teams. Each player has their own floorball stick. The goal is to score by hitting the ball into the opposing team's small goals. The game is played over two periods of a fixed duration.
A free hit is awarded to the opponent for:
- playing while lying down
- throwing the stick
- stick above knee height
- playing with hand or head
- hitting an opponent's stick
There should be no more than 4 players per team (max 5). Smaller teams provide greater involvement and a better overview of the field. If there are many participants, you can divide into three or more teams and rotate who is on the field, or organize several games simultaneously on different courts.
Tip: Consider starting with a softer ball instead of the usual 'hard' floorball. This often encourages more people to participate. Once participants have learned the game and feel confident, you can switch back to the regular ball. This adaptation is a good strategy to include as many people as possible in the activity.
