  • Hula hoop

Participants stand in a circle and hold hands. A hula hoop is placed around the body of one participant, between two people in the circle. The task is to move the hula hoop all the way around the circle without anyone letting go.

Everyone must remain standing in the circle throughout the exercise. Participants can lift their legs and twist their bodies to move the hoop forward, but the hula hoop must not be touched with hands or feet. If anyone lets go and the circle breaks, the group must start over. Agree beforehand how many rounds the hula hoop should complete around the circle.

If you divide into several smaller groups, each with its own hula hoop, you can turn the activity into a competition: Which group completes the task first?
